Because if you take personal responsibility (ex: pay your bills, work for your money, depend on you only👍) you’re going against a liberal’s idea that the government should take care of you (ex: obamacare👎) which really means those who work to take care of themselves will have to pay for those who are too lazy to and will STILL be hated for making an honest living. If everyone is equal, the only way to make that possible is to make everyone equally poor. If you believe that if you can’t have what others have, then they can’t have it either, move to communist China or North Korea.
